South Jersey Legal Services

South Jersey Legal Services, Inc. (SJLS) is a non-profit organization created to provide quality legal representation and advocacy to low-income individuals in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Monmouth, Ocean, and Salem Counties.

With over 50 years of experience, SJLS is part of the Legal Services of New Jersey network. SJLS Private Attorney Involvement Program includes special projects such as the Family Assist Project, and Children's SSI Project, where volunteer attorneys assist low-income children to secure disability benefits. We also have the SJLS Guardianship Project for Children where legal assistance is provided in obtaining guardianship over a disabled/ special needs child who is approaching 18 years of age.
