AtlantiCare Behavioral Health’s (ABH) Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services provides behavioral health care to individuals from three to 17 years of age and their families. Services include:
- Individual counseling
- Family counseling
- Psychiatric evaluations with medication monitoring
- Group therapy
ABH’s Child and Adolescent Services encourages client and family involvement in all stages of treatment
Adult Outpatient
AtlantiCare Behavioral Health (ABH) provides behavioral healthcare and addiction recovery services to adults with psychiatric, psychological, addiction and social issues.
- Individual counseling
- Psychiatric evaluations and medication management in conjunction with counseling
- Specialized psychological evaluations
- Group counseling
- Employee Assistance Program services
- Addiction recovery services which include, Relapse Prevention, Early Intervention and Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
- Compulsive Gambling treatment

Insurance Information and Funding
AtlantiCare Behavioral Health’s adult outpatient services accept Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurances. Patients without insurance are entitled to sliding scale fees funded through the United Way that are designed to set fair rates based on income and number of dependents. In addition, ABH receives special funding through the Division of Mental Health Services, Division of Youth and Family Services and various state and county grants to provide treatment for clients such as those suffering from post partum mood disorders along with addictions and compulsive gambling.
